Friends

Sweet Olivia and I on the bus!!! Raiding Courtney's candy and she had no clue!! Now she does!
Courtney and I Sunday morning on the bus in between concerts! Our plan was doughnuts and coffee, but SOMEONE forgot the doughnuts...ummm... So we searched around for anything...cereal, but no milk, no water...so we ended up having pop tarts, fiber one bars, bagels and peanut butter( mine and Courtney's personal favorite!) and coffee with coconut creamer!!! Yummy!! The coffee pot was smoking a bit but we were careful not to burn down the bus!!!

Rome

Here are just a couple of pictures from my trip. I promise to post more later, but Maggie is here visiting for the week and I am still a little bit out of whack from the time difference!! It was an awesome trip and I saw many amazing sights! The picture of me is At McDonalds, but not just any McDonalds, this was a famous one, near the Spanish Steps, it had an espresso bar and a wine bar! Pretty neat!

IHC

On Wednesday, Will, Callie and I went up to Dayton to IHC. It was a long day but I had lots of fun! I think we all determined that McDonalds has the best milkskakes! Notice how Phillip had on a silver tie and we matched, worthy cause for a picture!

Spring

Nathan, Lydia, Grace, and I went for a walk on a beautiful spring day and here are some of the pictures! There are more and I will try to get them on here soon. We had alot of fun and the kids took a snack to sit by the creek and eat! They love playing in the water!

Best Friends are for life...

Here's Courtney and I out on our Wednesday tradition! This one "happened" to include dinner at McAllisters, about 5 hours of hitting almost every store in Northern Kentucky and the finale of Starbucks! It was also the first night I drove "Jessie", the mustang around! Yep, I have the prettiest most amazing friend in the world! Love you soooooo much...see ya next week!:)

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Here are a few pictures from the other day. We made cut out sugar cookies and decorated them for Easter. We always have a fun time together!
The following is a conversation that occured at dinner: (Me) " We don't have to worry about getting baths tonight because Gracie doesn't have preschool in the morning and there is nothing to do. ( Gracie-4) " Why don't I have school in the morning?" (Me) " Because tomorrow is Good Friday, Does anybody know what that means?" ( Nathan-7) " That's the day Jesus rose from the dead." (Me) " No, that is the day Jesus died on the cross. Why did Jesus have to die on the cross?" ( Lydia-6) " So that all of our sins would be washed away." ( Me) " Right, Lydie. What would happen if Jesus didn't die for our sins?" (Nathan) " Then we would all go to Satan's world." ( Gracie) " But we don't want to go there, we want to go to God's world!" Then we spent a few minutes talking about what Heaven would be like. They hardly sit still long enough to get serious, so it was a very sweet little talk! I love you guys!

My beautiful Easter flowers, a gift from the kids!

All Five

Here is my attempt at having all 5 kids sit still for 2 seconds for one picture! As you can tell, it did not work so well! Noah was starving and Lehney was trying to fly off the couch before Lydia could catch her! Anyway, they are still adorable, and there you have it.:)

Update!

Lehney and Noah

Nathan and Noah

Here is a picture update! Pretty much just a combination of pictures taken over the past several weeks!

A Few Weeks Late!

Here's Courtney and I at Smokey Bones a few weeks ago! Instead of ordering dinner, we decided to order cake and ice cream! Boy was it yummy;) The only consolation was that we didn't eat the whole thing, so that made us feel a little better! ha ha We can be real pigs when we get together! Love ya, Court!

17 Things About Me

I'm 17 so that seemed like a good number to choose:) I have seen on various blogs lately how people are posting facts about their life or what they enjoy etc... so I thought I would give it a try...hope you don't become too bored...

  • I could live on Chocolate and Almonds but despise chips
  • I love exercising and consider it a hobby:)
  • I love shopping

  • I watch movies when I'm stressed out
  • I love to take pictures and scrapbook
  • I am a clean-freak( ask my mom!)
  • The thought of Math makes my head hurt:)
  • The South is my idea of Paradise
  • I have an obsession with buying every new face wash on the market( just ask my sister what our shower looks like, I could probably open a Dermatologist Office:)

My Weekend

Malachi is 2 years old
Elijah is 10 months and pretty much always this happy!

Not much has been going on around here. Friday through Tuesday I kept Malachi and Elijah because their parents were out-of-town to New York City. That was fun having a house and car- and well- the kids came along with it- to myself. Ha Ha I can now see what my mom has been telling me for years is true- that everything takes twice as long with little children. There is no such thing as an hour and a half gym trip or a "dash" into the mall to "run" through one store or a "leisurely" Sunday morning etc... or letting a 2-year old help in the kitchen, why do they find it necessary to dump SALT into my lemon bars when I turn my back??:) Oh, well, it just makes it all the more fun!

See, I had to plan way ahead of time in order to leave the house when I wanted to for reasons like the above, I wasn't just putting one person's shoes on, no, now it was 3 people!:)-

They grow up SO fast!

So I was going through of Maggies's pictures on the computer tonight, all the while thinking to myself, you really need to get your lazy self up and download some more recent ones, anyway... Here is one of her and I back in March of last year. Almost one year ago! Where does the time go? She could barely hold her head up then and now she is running all over the place! Oh my word! Okay, that's my excuse for a post! Love ya Mags!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day can be quite a depressing day, week, month etc... to some of us! So, just thought I would post a picture of some cookies that the kids and I made the other day for some cheering-up! Ha Ha! Had a gingerbread mix left over from Christmas and didn't figure it would last another year- so there you have it! I still want a teddy bear and a giant kiss one of these days(that's for you Courtney!), but we will have to wait and see!

Nathan, Lydia, Grace, Lehney, and Noah

Here are several pictures of the kids I nanny. Nathan is 7 years old and very curious. He is also a take-charge type and has proposed marriage to me on more than one occasion( I just might do that buddy- if things don't pick up here!) Lydia is 6 and very independent at times. She loves princesses and girly things but if you ever lose her outside- just head for the woods and poison ivy! Gracie is 4 years old and very sweet and clingy, she always wants to be with you. She loves to play games and I have become a pro at Candyland! Lehney( her real name is Lehner Elizabeth- a family name but we just call her Lehney(La-ney)) is 19 months old and a rascal!! She has been calling me Emmy for several months now and you always know when she is awake from a nap, because you will hear EMMY! being screamed from the upstaris! She is very cuddly and still loves to be rocked to sleep, half the time I have to stop so that I don't fall asleep! Now for the newest edition, Noah. He is only 13 days old and I can't say much except he is so sweet! He is a good baby. I thought it would be strange at first, having one more to add to the crew, but now it seems like he has always been here and it is hard to remember what it was like before him! Well, there you have it! These are the little angels that make my days and weeks so much fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Welcome Baby Noah

This is baby Noah Theodore. He was born January 7th at 11:00 a.m. He was 9 lbs. 6 oz. and 21'' long. I nanny for his family and he is number 5!! Welcome to the world Noah! We love you!

My attempt at a blog

Here is my hopeful effort to start and carry on-a blog! I dont't think I have much to say and even if I do, I don't think it to be very interesting! So, we will see what comes of it! My very first post is of my 14 month old niece, Maggie, and I at Thanksgiving. We all went ice skating at Fountain Square.
