Happy Easter! Here are a few pictures from the other day. We made cut out sugar cookies and decorated them for Easter. We always have a fun time together! The following is a conversation that occured at dinner: (Me) " We don't have to worry about getting baths tonight because Gracie doesn't have preschool in the morning and there is nothing to do. ( Gracie-4) " Why don't I have school in the morning?" (Me) " Because tomorrow is Good Friday, Does anybody know what that means?" ( Nathan-7) " That's the day Jesus rose from the dead." (Me) " No, that is the day Jesus died on the cross. Why did Jesus have to die on the cross?" ( Lydia-6) " So that all of our sins would be washed away." ( Me) " Right, Lydie. What would happen if Jesus didn't die for our sins?" (Nathan) " Then we would all go to Satan's world." ( Gracie) " But we don't want to go there, we want to go to God's world!" Then we spent a few minutes talking about what Heaven would be like. They hardly sit still long enough to get serious, so it was a very sweet little talk! I love you guys!
My beautiful Easter flowers, a gift from the kids!
I'm 17 years old and a homeschooled junior. I live in Kentucky, but was born in Mississippi, and I want to go back to the South for college. I spend most of my time with children-and love every minute of it! They are always one adventure after another! I love Jesus!!
